Accounting Associate [Denmark]


 

Job Overview:

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for NSSPI Accounts Payable voucher/cheque preparation and checking the completeness of its supporting documents. This position is also in charge of manual recording in the books of accounts for all accounting transactions such as disbursement, receipts, general journal, general ledger, sales journal and purchases Journal.

The Accounting Associate reports to the Admin and Finance Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices for service fees as checked by the Accounting & Finance Manager and encode them in the Sertica invoice system. Check if invoices are approved by approving officers in the various affiliated business units (DK, Poland, London) and follow up payments from the Ship Accounting team;
  • Prepare BIR form 2307 for the creditable expanded withholding tax withheld from supplier payments;
  • Follow up and monitor issuance of Official Receipt of payments from supplier and see to it that those are attached to vouchers of payments.
  • Prepare all company applicable tax returns and forward them to Accounting & Finance Manager for checking prior filing/payment in EFPS;
  • Prepare Quarterly Alphalist of Payees (QAP) Accounting & Finance Manager prior to submission to BIR portal;
  • Prepare Quarterly Summary List of Sales & Purchases Accounting & Finance Manager prior to submission to BIR portal;
  • Act as Petty Cash Custodian for NSSPI, prepare petty cash replenishment when PCF exhausted and every end of the month;
  • Rename scanned vouchers of disbursements and keep them on file at SharePoint;
  • Prepare Purchase Requisition Form and Purchase Order form and facilitate approval of HOD and GM;
  • Function as Maker to NSSPI BPI Bizlink online payment platform; and,
  • Such other functions and duties as maybe objectively assigned to her capacity.


Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce-Accounting or Accountancy Business Management (ABM).
  • Good English level both written and spoken.
  • Relevant experience in Philippine taxation.
